Our little chefs will learn to make Veggie Nuggets, Chocolate Mud Cake

Class shopping list

1 cup dried lentils
1 medium carrot
1 small zucchini
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup frozen peas and/or corn
1 tsp dried herbs (ex: Mrs. Dash, Italian seasoning, or any favorite mix)
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp granulated sugar
¼ tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
¼ cup milk
2 tbsp canola, vegetable or coconut oil
¼ tsp vanilla extract
nonstick cooking spray or butter for greasing pan
1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
whipped topping, sprinkles, marshmallows or other cake toppings (optional)

Supplies:

· Grater

· Blender or food processor (Adult Use)

· Oven (Adult Use)

· Baking Sheet

· Aluminum foil or parchment paper

· Spatula/flipper

· Microwave, adult supervision is required

· Measuring spoons and cups

· Microwave-safe mug (at least 12 oz)

· Medium bowls, utensils

Important: This will be a small group live cooking class held via Zoom. Once you register you will receive a link to the meeting. No special equipment is required, you can use your phone or computer to participate in the class. Adult supervision is required.
