About the event
Our little chefs will learn to make Baked Pineapple Sundaes and Blueberry Ice Cream Sandwiches
Shopping List
• 3 tbsp brown sugar
• 3 tbsp orange juice
• 1 ½ tsp honey
• ¾ tsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp ground ginger
• 2 cups chopped pineapple (fresh or canned)
• 2 cups ice cream or frozen yogurt or Greek yogurt
• Optional sundae toppings: nuts, shredded coconut, granola
• ¾ cup pecans OR 1 cup pretzelsÂ
• ¾ cup pitted Medjool dates (about 8 dates)
• ¾ cup rolled oats
• ¼ tsp salt (plus an extra pinch)
• 3 large frozen bananas
• ½ cup frozen blueberries (or any other fruit)
• ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Supplies
• Blender or food processor (Adult Use)
• Can opener (if using canned pineapple)
• Aluminum foil or parchment paper
• Oven (Adult Use)
• Baking sheet
• Child safe knife
• Chopping board
• Set of measuring spoons and cups
• Medium and individual-sized bowls, utensils
Important: This will be a small group live cooking class held via Zoom. Once you register you will receive a link to the meeting. No special equipment is required, you can use your phone or computer to participate in the class. Adult supervision is required.
