About The Course
Our little chefs will learn to make two delicious and healthy dishes:
- Black Bean and Veggie Quesadilla
- Black Bean and Corn Salad
What we are learning?
- Measuring
- Slicing
- Cooking with legumes
Important: This will be a small group live cooking class held via Zoom. Once you register you will receive a link to the meeting. No special equipment is required, you can use your phone or computer to participate in the class. Adult supervision is required.
Class shopping list
- 15 oz can black beans
- 15 oz can corn
- 2 small tortillas
- 1 red bell pepper
- ¼ cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium tomato (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro
- 1 lime
Supplies: Oven, preheated to 350F (only adults should be using oven!), knife, adult supervision is required, Baking pan, Set of measuring spoons and cups, Medium sized bowl
