About The Course

Our little chefs will learn to make Veggie Nuggets and Chocolate Mug Cake

Shopping List

• 1 cup dried lentils

• 1 medium carrot

• 1 small zucchini

• ½ cup breadcrumbs 

• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

• ½ cup frozen peas and/or corn

• 1 tsp dried herbs (ex: Mrs. Dash, Italian seasoning, or any favorite mix)

• ½ cup all-purpose flour

• 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

• 3 tbsp granulated sugar

• ¼ tsp baking powder

• pinch of salt

• ¼ cup milk

• 2 tbsp canola, vegetable or coconut oil

• ¼ tsp vanilla extract

• nonstick cooking spray or butter for greasing pan

• 1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)

• whipped topping, sprinkles, marshmallows or other cake toppings (optional)

Supplies

• Grater

• Blender or food processor (Adult Use)

• Oven (Adult Use)

• Baking Sheet

• Aluminum foil or parchment paper

• Spatula/flipper

• Microwave, adult supervision is required

• Measuring spoons and cups

• Microwave-safe mug (at least 12 oz)

• Medium bowls, utensils

Important: This will be a small group live cooking class held via Zoom. Once you register you will receive a link to the meeting. No special equipment is required, you can use your phone or computer to participate in the class. Adult supervision is required.
