About the event
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. In these series Education Beyond Cooking: Kitchen Science, we will allow kids to experience science in a new way: delicious, relatable and fun! This course will allow kids to connect their STEAM knowledge to everyday activities and events and, as a result deepen their understanding of and interest in science.
Monday, 10/26, 2:00pm - 3:00 pm CDT (3:00pm - 4:00pm EST)
This class' theme is "Mathmatics" - We will create some slime and learn about the importance of ratios in chemistry!
Supplies: we are keeping supplies to the minimum, you will receive a list of supplies for each class once you register
Important: This will be a large group live cooking class held via Zoom. Once you register you will receive a link to the meeting. No special equipment is required, you can use your phone or computer to participate in the class. Adult supervision may be required for some of the activities.
