Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream Recipe

This recipe combines all of the things we love! From creamy peanut butter to banana ice cream, we are sure the whole family will enjoy this cold treat. The best part is that you can top it with whatever toppings you'd like and if you have leftovers...just pop it in the freezer for another day!

Tip: You'll need to halve and freeze ripe bananas a day in advance!

Ingredients:

  • 2 peeled, frozen, overripe bananas

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 3 tbsp milk

  • optional toppings: chocolate chips, shredded coconut, sliced fresh bananas

Directions:

  1. Add frozen bananas into a blender (we recommend adult supervision for using the blender!)

  2. Add peanut butter and milk - blend until creamy and smooth

  3. Serve into a bowl once the blending is done and add your favorite toppings!

Super simple right? We can't wait to see what you make, so share your yummy creation with us at @icookafterschool
